Meet AIdro
The camera that knows your catch
Hold your phone over the fish. AIdro tells you what you just landed, then fills in your logbook for you. No guessing, no arguing with your mate on the bank, no scrolling a field guide with wet hands.

How it works
Three taps, one fish
Point and scan
Open the camera when you log a catch and hold it over the fish. AIdro starts reading the shape, the fins, and the markings straight away.
Get the ID
In a moment it tells you what you are holding, in plain English rather than Latin. Surgeonfish, not Acanthuridae. Not sure? It shows you its next best guesses too.
Log it in one tap
The fish, the spot, and the time all drop into your catch entry already filled in. You get back to fishing instead of typing.
Built into the catch log
It lives where you already are
AIdro is not a separate app or a gimmick you open once. It sits inside the button you already press every time you land something, so your logbook fills itself in while the fish is still in your hands.
- Beginners stop wondering what they caught.
- Veterans log a session in seconds instead of minutes.
- Every report on the map gets more accurate for everyone else.
Ours, end to end
AIdro was designed and trained in house at Reel Time Creations. We did not licence someone else's model and stick our name on it. We built it on close to a hundred thousand fish photographs, taught it 568 families of fish, and tuned it until it could hold its own on species it had never seen before.
It is still in training, and it gets better every time we feed it more water. That is the part we are most excited about.
Be first to scan
AIdro is landing in FISHON soon. Join now and you will have it the day it goes live.
